United States Plant Hardiness Zone Map
Hardiness zones are there to help us better understand which plants will best survive winters in that particular area of the country. These zones are based on average winter lows in the region. Perennials, trees, and shrubs can be fragile and die if low temperatures get too cold for them. This makes it important to know which growing zone you're in to ensure success and avoid unwelcome setbacks in your garden. Check this color-coded plant hardiness zone map of the United States to find which zone you're in.
